World’s wealthiest women travel thousands of miles for skin treatments at Derbyshire clinic

The family-run business, which offers some of the world’s most advanced, non-surgical skin care for conditions such as acne, fatigue and wrinkles, has since been rebuilding its Derbyshire client base, originally based in Derby when it opened in 2014.

Yet one of the city’s best-kept secrets is already the talk of the world’s wealthiest women, many of whom continue to visit Neo Elegance after first discovering the clinic in London.

The family treats at least 15 regular clients who travel to Derby from as far afield as Hong Kong, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Dubai and the US.

The business usually closes its doors to other clients while these special VIP visits are taking place. These wealthy and well-connected clients are often driven from East Midlands Airport to an outside parking area behind the clinic, allowing them to arrive and depart in complete anonymity.

Shakeela said: “It’s fantastic to be able to offer high quality treatments in our home town of Derby. “We’d love for more people from Derby and Derbyshire to know what we offer – then they’ll understand why clients travel thousands of miles away. The world is treated here.

“We offer Harley Street style expertise and discretion with the luxury of Dubai, but at a price that the people of Derby can afford.”

Neo Elegance is all set to take the beauty industry by storm in 2014. The family designs and manufactures its own beauty products and equipment with the aim of perfecting the best global treatments and technology.

Shakila, Farrah and Fizz feel that the beauty industry is offering poor-quality and overpriced treatments that are only short-term solutions.

Over the past few years they have traveled the world – to places like Dubai, Turkey, Italy, Hong Kong and the US – gathering information on the best beauty treatments available.

They have now returned to Derby with this knowledge and created a luxurious clinic decorated with plush peacock-blue sofas, gold teapots and Versace wallpaper.

Without a single scalpel in sight, they estimate that their natural, non-surgical skin treatments can typically knock a client off their appearance by up to 10 years.

Shakeela said: “The truth of the matter is that the UK is far behind Hong Kong and places like Germany and France in terms of the beauty market.

“Here, we see a lot of cosmetic work like fillers and face-lifts on the face, because women, especially, are looking for a quick fix all the time.

“What we offer is very natural looking. We effectively achieve the same results. It takes longer, but it lasts longer — and often costs a fraction of the price.

Fizz, the company’s skin specialist, with qualifications in clinical aesthetics, advanced skin science and an accredited trainer in beauty treatments, said: “A mistake made by many beauty therapists and brands that sell products in high street stores. Not a ‘one size fits all’ scenario.

“Everyone’s skin is different. It reacts differently to different products. A person’s skin also changes between the seasons of the year. So what we do at Neo Elegance is focus on education.

“We educate people about their own skin, we provide bespoke treatments for each individual and prescribe appropriate regimens for home skin care between treatments at the clinic.

“The unfortunate truth in the UK is that people are not as well educated about their skin from a young age as in other parts of the world. In other countries, people start skin care much earlier in life and see much better results as they get older. Here in the UK, it’s too late – that’s why some women start taking care of their skin. Very drastic and invasive measures are taken to regain youth.

Fizz, who was one of the stars of the ITV reality series Spa Wars five years ago, works with sister Farrah and mum Shakeela to constantly create new natural lotions and serums to offer customers. All the products they sell are their own creations. The family uses its extensive global knowledge and expertise to design and manufacture its own technical equipment at its factory and warehouse in Alfreton.

The company’s ground-breaking, portable and cordless LED face mask, featured on the Spa Wars TV show, is now in its third generation design. Users wear the mask, which has a built-in pair of ‘sunglasses’ in a Darth Vader-style face covering, and select the color light setting most suitable for their skin condition – be it blemishes, fatigue or lines. With Christmas approaching, the company is expecting a surge in orders for its £199.00 Triwave LED mask.

Neo Elegance also launched its advanced NeoDermisX fractional radiofrequency device, a portable device that combines radiofrequency with microneedles to help treat conditions such as scars, acne and wrinkles.
