Cocoa Beach in Florida ranks first. The beach is an iconic and busy surfing center with an extensive surfing history dating back to the 1950s. The Beach is particularly popular on social media with over 3,000 surf-related Instagram hashtags. Sea temperatures are also favourable, averaging 27°C, making it a great place to head to the sea.
Hawaii is known for its beautiful beaches and warm seas, so it’s no surprise that Waikiki takes second place on Oahu. Oahu offers 122 surf breaks and 3.8 km of shoreline to explore. Similar to Cocoa Beach in Florida, surfers can expect a warm ride with average water temperatures of 27°C.
