This $14 Million Florida Manse Is a True Tuscan-Style Farmhouse – Robb Report

You don’t need to fly to Italy to find your own Tuscan villa, instead travel to Florida.

Located just 30 minutes from Tampa International Airport, Tre Sorelle Real Estate, which translates to “Three Sisters” in English, is a recent addition to the Sunshine State’s busy real estate market. The listing, managed by Robin Gunn of Sotheby’s International Realty, is an authentic Tuscan-style farmhouse on just one acre in the seaside community of Tierra Verda. If you’re looking for an oasis of Italian luxury, this three-story home is yours for $13.99 million.

Cuban architect Albert Alfonso was inspired by the beauty of central Italy when creating the concept of the house. The construction of the house featured abundant resources sourced from the region, such as the 10-12-inch exterior limestone layers and terra cotta tiles found in the Barletta-Andria-Trani region. The right materials and Italian suppliers were essential to create a facade that would look right at home in the famous Tuscan foothills.

“After pursuing Albert for some time, we agreed that if he committed to building an authentic Tuscan farmhouse, he would take on the project,” the property owner said in an email. Robb’s report. “A lot of houses say ‘Tuscan farmhouse,’ but Albert decided to build something like the one in Strada di Borgo Pretale. So we went to Tuscany twice, explored the countryside, some in ruins, and took hundreds and hundreds of reference photos. .”

Inside the 12,000-square-foot home, you’ll find seven bedrooms, eight full bathrooms and three half-bathrooms with hardwood floors throughout. This elegant Tuscan influence can be seen in detail throughout the home, from the mahogany doors to the beamed wood ceilings and expansive high ceilings. The apartment is reminiscent of an Italian family home, but its honey-colored Corton limestone staircase is inspired by a completely different region of the old continent, the French region of Burgundy.

The upper floor is dominated by six bedrooms, each with its own en-suite. If you’re looking for some extra space to relax, spend time alone reading a book in the sun-filled library on the ground floor. Down the grand staircase, the main floor features an open floor plan featuring a spacious living room, gourmet kitchen, two dining rooms, one for everyday use and one for entertaining your favorite guests, two offices, and a den.

Downstairs is a gym, four-car garage, and a private wine cellar that stays true to its Italian roots. The home also has plenty to offer outdoors: take a break from the Florida sun and relax in the covered lounge and dining area. Or choose to sit by the fire pit surrounded by your own moat. It also has a heated pool for bathing whatever the weather.

If you’re looking to bring some of the Tuscan spirit with you, this is the property for you.
