FRANCE/INTERNATIONAL. Diageo Global Travel Retail has announced an exciting new collaboration with The Moodie Davitt Report. The beverage giant is partnering with the leading travel retail publisher for its Ticket to Transformation activity at this year’s TFWA World Exhibition & Conference in Cannes.

Conference attendees are invited to attend The Sunset Sessions, co-hosted by Diageo and The Moodie Davitt Report. On the evenings of October 3rd, 4th and 5th, three panel discussions will take place daily from 5pm at the Majestic Beach Bar at the Palais Des Festivals, focusing on three key themes.

An expert panel of senior Diageo executives and industry partners, moderated throughout the week by Martin Moodie, Founder and Chair of the Moodie Davitt Report, and Dermot Davitt, President and Editor-in-Chief, respectively, will provide an in-depth look at key issues transforming the global travel industry today.

Topics to be discussed by the panel include promoting positive drinking and responsible consumption; Promoting inclusion and diversity by building diverse teams in travel retail and beyond; and pioneering grain-to-glass sustainability and sustainable branding in the travel retail channel.

Diageo is a global leader in alcoholic beverages and owns premium brands such as Johnnie Walker, Crown Royal, JεB and Buchanan’s whiskeys, Smirnoff, Cîroc and Ketel One vodkas, Captain Morgan, Baileys, Don Julio, Tanqueray and Guinness.

Newly appointed Diageo Global Travel Managing Director Andrew Cowan said: “We are delighted to be collaborating with Moodie Davitt in Cannes this year. TFWA attendees are invited to enjoy a “sundowner” of their choice at the Diageo ENJOY Bar before attending the panel discussions at the Majestic Beach Bar from 5pm to 5:45pm. Everyone runs for 30 to 45 minutes.
