IHG Hotels & Resorts has signed an exclusive partnership with holding company Agung Sedayu Group to develop the first Holiday Inn branded urban beach resort in Indonesia.

The agreement expands IHG’s portfolio of brands to 36 opened and planned hotels in the Southeast Asian country.

First Beach

The newly built Holiday Inn Resort PIK2 White Sand Beach will open in 2024 and will be the first white sand beach resort in Greater Jakarta. With 180 rooms, suites and lofts, the resort will showcase Holiday Inn’s new generation of flexible spaces with contemporary design. Guests will experience the brand’s hallmarks, including signature KidSuites.

Facilities include a restaurant, two bars, more than 2,600 square feet of meeting space, fitness center and recreation center, indoor and outdoor recreation areas and an outdoor pool.

Sustainable development

Holiday Inn Resort PIK2 White Sand Beach will be the anchor hotel in PIK2 North Jakarta, a 2,350-acre waterfront satellite city in Tangerang District. Dubbed the ‘New City of Jakarta’, it has many significant projects under development, including Indonesia’s largest shopping mall, a range of F&B facilities, a sports center and an Islamic financial district. Seamlessly integrated into its natural surroundings, PIK2 will be a smart city designed with modern technology for work, life and play.
