“Looking back, I have a feeling it’s going to be fun.”
After winning Love Island this year and winning the heart of every single viewer during his time on the show, Davide Sanclimenti is just getting started.
Besides his own TV show with his girlfriend Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu, his first big drop since leaving the villa is his collaboration with boohooMAN.
To anyone who’s seen the collection, it screams top Italian design, and that was no coincidence. Together with the brand, Davide wanted to create something that he and his friends could wear.
“Of course, when I was approached about this idea, I was happy because I ordered and shopped a lot at boohooMAN before Love Island. When I was preparing my entire wardrobe and everything I wanted to bring to the villa, I had a few shirts from boohooMAN and when they approached me and offered to create a collection based on my preferences, I could use the materials Choosing the fabrics and the colors I was really happy. I was looking forward to it and apparently it was successful,” said Davide Her.ie
“When we first met, they told me about the idea of creating something inspired by Italian fashion. It reminds me of Italian culture, Italian vibes and it’s something I really appreciate because it means they care about me and my origins, my nationality. We wanted to create something that was a mix of Italian and English fashion.”
As for his next venture, Davide and Ekin-Su are already on the road, traveling to Italy and Turkey for a new ITV series and of course to meet each other’s families.
While Davide couldn’t reveal much, one thing is for sure, the classic fights between Ekin-Su and Davide are hot, but unlike Villa, they make up much more quickly.
With clips from the series Davide said are guaranteed to make us laugh, he admitted he was concerned the show wouldn’t feature them as Love Island did – the couple we all adored. Thankfully, however, he remembered and the ekinde we know and love is well underway.
“Both episodes end with us meeting my family in Italy and of course introducing Ekin-Su to my whole family and we will do the same in Turkey so at the end of the road trip I will meet Ekin-Su’s family. I can say it’s going to be really funny because we’ve had arguments, a lot of moments where we’re just dissing. We had a few small arguments, but we sort them out right away because they weren’t deep or big issues.
“You know, me and Ekin-Su together are very fun people, we’re just being ourselves throughout the journey and now looking back because when I was filming it I said maybe we could do better, yeah that’s us being ourselves but it’s not going to look good but now looking back I have a feeling it’s going to be fun.”
“When I told my mom or my best friend a few things that happened on the road trip, they just laughed, so imagine when the show will be live and people will actually be watching.”
