Now in its 30th year Confindustria Ceramica (Italian Ceramic Association) and Italian trade agency I am pleased to inform you that 2023 Italian Ceramic Tile Competition now enrolling. This prestigious award program with previous winners including Rockwell Group, Perkins&Will and Snøhetta Celebrates projects by North American architects and designers Italian ceramic and porcelain tiles are used. Continuing the program’s tradition of recognizing and empowering the next generation of professional architects and designers, this year’s cycle repeats Students create imaginative spaces using Italian tiles. Students must be enrolled at an accredited North American university to be eligible.
Projects in four categories: Residential (Single-Family), Residential (Multi-Family), Commercial and Institutional must demonstrate how Italian tiles are used to create innovative solutions, along with images from the student design category. practical, aesthetic and sustainable benefits of materials. And projects Italian ceramic or porcelain tiles should be included in abundance At least one ceramic must be produced by an Italian member company North American-based architects and designers will complete between January 2018 and January 2023.. All styles and scales of projects – both domestic or international – the following will be considered, but not limited to: office buildings; spa treatment; restaurant; shops and shopping centers; hotel; school or university; residential areas, multi-apartment buildings; private housing; public and civil buildings; health institutions; and others.
An international panel of design experts will select the winners based on creativity, functionality, sustainability, aesthetic appeal and the size of the tiles used by member companies of Italian Ceramics. Winners of built projects will be accepted 5-day CEU trip to Bologna, Italy Cersaie attends: The the world’s largest exhibition of ceramic tiles and bathroom furniture, along with top design media representatives.
