According To TripAdvisor, These Caribbean Islands Is A Favorite American Fall Destination

While summer comes with lots of fun, fall is our favorite season. And it’s not just hype or a story rooted in American culture and tradition. According to a poll published in 2020, the percentage of respondents who identified fall as their favorite season was 30% higher than those who chose any of the remaining three seasons. Here’s a corollary. If fall is Americans’ favorite season, where would they most like to go to get a glimpse of nature’s most beautiful colors?

THE TRAVEL VIDEO OF THE DAY

Americans have many choices. However, the Turks and Caicos Islands have registered an outlier on the travel radar. It turns out that Americans have taken a significant interest in these groups of Caribbean islands and can’t seem to get enough of their unimaginable beauty.

Turks & Caicos is TripAdvisor’s fastest growing travel destination

According to data analyzed by TripAdvisor, the world’s largest travel advice platform, the Turks and Caicos Islands are the world’s fastest growing travel destination.

That’s according to data from an online survey of over 2,700 consumers. TripAdvisor conducted the survey in partnership with Qualtricsa customer experience management platform that provides tools to conduct web-based surveys and create relevant reports.

TripAdvisor surveyed travelers from Japan, Italy, Singapore, the UK, Australia and of course the United States.

There are other destinations described by TripAdvisor as the fastest growing.

On the heels of the Turks and Caicos Islands is Ho Chi Minh City, the dazzling South Vietnamese city formerly known as Saigon, which is also its economic hub.

Ho Chi Minh has long been one of the top tourist destinations in Vietnam, and its stunning location might not come as a huge surprise.

Singapore, London (surprisingly) and Bangkok round out the top 5 in that order. Survey results reflect travel searches on the TripAdvisor platform between September 1, 2022 and November 30, 2022.

Destinations are Singapore, famed for its amazing food scene, mostly drawn from the hugely popular hawker hubs (and of course its unimaginable security), and Bangkok, which is insanely tolerant of tourist behavior as long as the monarchy remains untouched who have been topping the charts for a while.

But the Turks & Caicos seem to be on another level.

Why Turks and Caicos should top your fall vacation list

It’s not just the gorgeous fall colors, the sheer number of fun activities on offer, or even the warm, sunny weather that travelers flock to the planet for.

Turks & Caicos offers – not without a doubt – but certainly the best beaches in the world.

Take Grace Bay Beach, for example. This beach is simply the stuff dreams are made of. When it comes to the sand, Grace Bay Beach has sand that is powdery-soft in texture and so white in color that it looks very ethereal.

In 2022, it topped TripAdvisor’s Travelers’ Choice Awards for the best beach in the world, a ranking replicated on several other travel platforms.

The beauty of Turks & Caicos is that it’s not just a beach; or two or three.

Instead, each main island is beautifully fringed by miles of secluded sandy beaches – the kind that will leave visitors in utter awe and admiration.

Then there is another side to these beaches that makes them a hot cake worldwide. They are almost never crowded.

Even Grace Bay, the world’s best beach, whose fame would attract many soles to its sandy shores, rarely sees crowds such as those seen at Myrtle Beach or other popular American beaches.

And to add to the beach experience, the seawater that laps the shore is so clear it’s almost transparent.

Other things to love about Turks & Caicos

The beaches of Turks & Caicos are the mainstay of the country’s travel fame. And as we have seen, all this is deserved.

However, there are other travel-related factors that continue to influence the country’s popularity as a travel hotspot. One of them is the language.

With English as the official language of these Caribbean islands, tourists from the United States and Great Britain quickly feel comfortable. It is also worth noting that in Turks & Caicos the US Dollar is the accepted currency.

This means there are no frustrations revolving around converting currencies – as is often the case in many other travel destinations – and associated currency exchange scams. But that’s not all.

There are several direct flights from the United States, deliberately making travel convenient. After all, there’s more to the Turks and Caicos than just their heavenly beaches.

Throughout the country, nature shines in royal splendor. For these reasons, travelers around the world increasingly want to experience this slice of heaven.
